Our Statement of Faith
We would not be doing what we do or go where we go except for our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jim and I want to work with any who accepts Jesus as their Redeemer and Savior. We consider ourselves Bible believing Christians and brothers in the LORD, but frankly we do not agree on every little detail. But I tell you this we want to see each other before the throne of God so much that one would carry the other to get there. This is what we believe and agree on.
  • The Bible is the Word of God, Old Testament and New. We even believe that God is capable of protecting it through the ages and delivering it to His children in a form He would have us read. He wants to be known and understood and is not so weak that He can’t keep His Word pure.
God exists as the Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ is the One Only Begotten Son of God, Eternal, not created Being and the physical representation of God.
  • Man, created perfectly, life breathed into him by God was placed in the Garden of Eden and given stewardship of the earth.
  • Man’s sin against God was disobedience in the one thing that God withheld, the fruit of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Satan tempted and man failed to resist. Spiritual death occurred at the moment of disobedience not at temptation.
  • Christ alone fulfills the requirement of God for sacrifice to cover our sin and redeem us from eternity in hell to eternity in heaven.
  • Christ alone is Redeemer and Savior.
  • Christ is unique product of Virgin Birth. Born to Die in our place. His tortured death on the cross was necessary, as was His burial and His glorious Resurrection. We are not free to accept any thing less in Christ. The events of His life are real and not to be “spiritualized.”
  • Christ is in Heaven at the right hand of the Father, interceding for His church.
  • Christ sent the Holy Spirit to convict unbelievers, call them to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to teach, encourage and comfort the believers.
  • We, believers are called to unique work that God has designed for us to do from all eternity. There is no small work for Jesus. All are equal in Christ. There are no walls of race, denomination, or any other distinctive that men place on men.
  • Christ does not give life; He is our life.
  • Christ does not give strength; He is our strength.
  • Christ does not give victory; He is our victory.
  • We believe that Christ loved those He calls to serve enough to die for them and we the servants no greater than the Master, are called to give all.
